Friday & Saturday – Focus on politics and regulation
On Friday and Saturday, the focus will be on one topic in particular that is currently generating significant political interest: the new Swiss Cannabis Products Act (CanPG).
Several presentations will provide an overview of the current status:
- How should consumption be regulated in the future?
- What rules govern cultivation and production?
- How could the sale be organized?
- What were the results of the consultation process?
- And what happens next politically?
An important contribution comes from Sven Schendekehl of the Association Legalize it, who puts the law into context and outlines the next steps.
And the panel discussion on Friday also promises to be exciting, as different perspectives from politics and industry will clash and key questions about future regulation will be openly discussed.
In addition to these political insights, the program offers numerous other exciting contributions on Recreational Consumption , regulation, and societal developments. For example, ongoing pilot projects in Switzerland will be presented and discussed – providing insights into their achievements so far and potential future directions. Experiences from other countries will also be incorporated into the discussions, showcasing different approaches to dealing with cannabis.
In addition, there will be practical presentations on topics such as cultivation, product quality, and new industry standards designed to create greater transparency and safety for consumers. Current developments and innovations in the cannabis sector will also be showcased.
