Here, you can engage in insightful conversations with experienced cannabis patients who will share their personal experiences and provide insights into the medical efficacy of cannabis. In addition to the Association MEDCAN, medical professionals will also be on hand to answer your questions. This will create a platform for exchange and education in the medical field. Pilot projects for Recreational Consumption
Another major topic at CannaTrade 2024 is the pilot projects that have been launched in various Swiss municipalities and cities. These pilot projects are testing the legal distribution of THC cannabis to recreational users and are thus pioneers of the planned cannabis legalization in Switzerland, which is expected in the coming years.

Around Hall 622, the chill-out area, featuring the popular Hemp Food Festival with food stalls from around the world, bars, and music, invites visitors to relax and enjoy themselves. In collaboration with Radio Rabe (Bern), Radio 3fach (Lucerne), Kanal K (Aarau), and Jam-on Zug, top-notch DJs will be spinning the records, and in between sets, panel discussions on current hemp policy, cannabis as medicine, and the Swiss Joint Rolling Championship will be broadcast live.
At CannaTrade, business customers enjoy relaxed networking in the business lounge, and Swiss CBD producers will once again compete in the CannaSwissCup in 2024 for the title of best CBD flower. Excitement is guaranteed!
