CannaTrade goes medical
This year, a special medical corner will be set up at the trade fair to enable those interested to take a closer look at the medical use of cannabis. It will be staffed by various organizations and professionals, including the Association MEDCAN. This place offers the opportunity to get in direct contact with experienced experts from all areas. Here you can have interesting conversations with experienced cannabis patients who share their personal experiences and provide insights into the medical effectiveness of cannabis. In addition to the Association MEDCAN, medical experts will also be on site and will be happy to answer your questions. This creates a platform for exchange and education in the medical field. You are cordially invited to use this opportunity to collect information and actively exchange ideas with the experts in the medical cannabis community.

Pilot projects for the Recreational Consumption
Another big topic at CannaTrade 2024 are the pilot projects that have started in various Swiss communities and cities. The pilot projects are examining the legal distribution of THC cannabis to recreational consumers and are therefore pioneers of the planned cannabis legalization in Switzerland, which is expected in the next few years.

Around Hall 622, the chillout area with the popular Hemp Food Festival with food stands from all over the world, bars and sound invites you to chill out and enjoy. In collaboration with Radio Rabe (Bern), Radio 3fach (Luzern), Kanal K (Aarau) and Jam-on Zug, top-class DJs and DJanes are behind the turntables, and in between there will be panel discussions on current hemp policy, cannabis as medicine and the Swiss championship broadcast live in joint roles.
