MEDCAN is also gaining international recognition

The journal Medical Cannabis Network has invited MEDCAN to contribute an article in its second issue, which will be published in April 2020, about the situation of cannabis patients and the still very limited access to medical cannabis in Switzerland.

Medical Cannabis Network is a sister publication of Health Europa. It is an open-access journal distributed to more than 102,400 policymakers, scientists and research organizations, industry companies, charities and NGOs across Europe.

The Medical Cannabis Association Switzerland was, of course, happy to take advantage of this excellent opportunity. Through increased media outreach, the Association is being asked for its expert opinion more and more frequently. This will hopefully allow affected patients to exert some influence in the future. As always, MEDCAN used this opportunity not only to draw attention to the difficult situation of cannabis patients, but also to present potential solutions.

The 2017 German Medical Cannabis Act is also deliberately cited as a bad example. The situation across Europe remains inhumane, and only a fraction of European cannabis patients have safe, clean, and affordable access.
