Since the legal amendment of August 1, 2022, doctors have been able to prescribe cannabis-based medicines. However, in practice, access to cannabis therapy is not always easy for those affected. At MEDCAN, we regularly observe a lack of knowledge and experience, which makes it difficult for patients to find appropriate medical support.
This makes continuing education courses all the more important, as they combine sound knowledge with concrete experience from everyday medical practice: Which preparation is suitable for which situation? How is it dosed? What side effects and interactions should be considered? When are THC or CBD appropriate? How does the prescription process work, and what needs to be considered when obtaining cost approval?
We are therefore very pleased that PHYTOMED AG, a long-standing member of our Association , continues its commitment and will also offer a diverse and practice-oriented training program in autumn 2026.
The events are aimed at medical professionals from various fields. Many of the lectures require no prior knowledge and are therefore ideal for beginners. At the same time, they offer experienced professionals the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and gain new insights for their practice.
