"We, The Patients" - First event in Zurich on March 1, 2025

After our successful start in October in Madrid, we are very happy to be able to announce the first “We, The Patients” event in Zurich! This event was launched by patients for patients and offers them a platform for exchange, information and mutual support.

Our mission is to strengthen those affected by knowledge and networking. With this event we would like to show how the medical use of cannabis can make a difference in chronic and degenerative neurological diseases.

Location: Resident Zurich - Kreuzstrasse 24, 8008 Zurich
Time: 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Topic: Chronic and degenerative neurological diseases
Participant: 50 people
Costs: Free
Language : German
Catering: For your good Is taken care of - there will be snacks and drinks.

Why we organize this event

Many affected people have difficulty finding a medical specialist when it comes to treatment with cannabis. There are countless questions: which diseases can be treated? How do you get a recipe? What does the current legal situation look like? What are other patients' experiences: inside?

We want to close this gap with “We, The Patients”. Our goal is to create an open and supportive community and platform in which the needs of those affected are in the foreground.

It is particularly important to us that the events are accessible to everyone - regardless of financial resources, mobility or previous knowledge. We want to create a safe and inviting environment in which everyone can feel comfortable.

This is how the event runs off

The event is divided into two areas:

  • Lecture room: The exciting and informative lectures take place here.
  • Break and encounter room: a separate area that is intended for participants who want to withdraw or exchange in between. This room offers a quiet atmosphere in which conversations or breaks are possible.

On -site nursing staff:
To ensure that all participants feel comfortable and safe, a nursing staff will be present during the entire event. She is responsible for the well -being of the guests and is ready for support if necessary.

The event offers enough breaks between the lectures to rest for discussions, exchange of experiences and network. We create a framework in which everyone is heard and can learn from the experiences of others.

The event is also filmed by a team. So that we can make the interesting and exciting lectures available to a larger audience afterwards. And so there is also the possibility to look at all lectures again later.
