Plant cannabis yourself - legal and simple

Since August 2022, medical specialists in Switzerland have been able to directly prescribe cannabis as anesthetic - an important progress for many chronically ill people. Also legally available CBD drops with less than 1 % THC can support in some cases. Nevertheless, access remains difficult: Many do not find a prescription doctor or a doctor, and if the health insurance does not pay, the costs are often hardly portable.

This is precisely why it can be helpful to grow some legal CBD plants in spring-for example on the balcony or in the garden. So you take on a piece of personal responsibility for your own health.

That is why we organize this workshop: from patients for patients, with the aim of giving you knowledge, tools and self -confidence to help yourself.

What awaits you:
  • Practical tips on how to grow CBD-rich cannabis plants with less than 1 % THC in Switzerland-for example on the balcony or in the garden.
  • Free starter gifts that make it easier to get started.
  • The opportunity to exchange and network with other affected people

What is the legal situation?

In Switzerland, it has been allowed to build, own and sell cannabis plants with a THC content of less than 1 %. These so-called CBD plants are not considered anesthetic. So if you pull a few CBD-rich plants on the balcony or in the garden at home, do not make yourself punishable-as long as the THC limit value of 1 % is not exceeded. This regulation is anchored in the Narcotics Act (BetMG).

CBD products, such as B. drops or extracts have already proven to be helpful support for many sick people - for example in pain, sleep problems or inner unrest. But for some patients: the effects of these legal products are not sufficient inside. Especially in chronic pain, spasticity, loss of appetite or severe sleep disorders, THC-rich varieties are often medically necessary.

That is why our Association is committed to ensuring that, within the framework of future legal adjustments, sick people receive the right to grow medically effective cannabis even with a higher THC content-especially if they do not find medical support or cannot afford the medication. Because nobody should have to do without necessary help for financial reasons.

Helping people help themselves

Our workshop is more than just an attachment - it is a place for:

  • Networking with other patients
  • Exchange with experts
  • Empowerment through knowledge
  • Community and solidarity

Precisely because so many affected people are on their own, we want to create rooms in which mutual support is possible. Each: R should have the chance to get to know legal alternatives and try it out-until it is also legally possible to grow THC-rich plants for their own needs.

Who is "We, The Patients"?

“We, The Patients” is a movement of those affected for those affected. Our vision: change the view of the medical use of cannabis - and sick people make access easier. We convey well -founded information about how to legally get a recipe today, what therapeutic effect cannabis can have and which ways to help self -help are possible.

In our do-it yourself workshops, those affected learn how to legally grow CBD-rich cannabis plants themselves. At the same time, we offer space for exchange and networking - because nobody should be alone with their illness.

Parliament is currently discussing decriminalization and building a legal market. We hope for legalization that enables every Swiss to grow a few cannabis plants for their own needs in the future. This would also also benefit patients who otherwise cannot afford their therapy - a step towards more self -determination and security of care.

A heartfelt thank you
