Why we are organizing this event
Many people struggle to find a medical professional when it comes to cannabis treatment. Countless questions arise: Which illnesses can be treated? How does one obtain a prescription? What is the current legal situation? What are the experiences of other patients?
With "We, The Patients" we want to close this gap. Our goal is to create an open and supportive community and platform where the needs of those affected are paramount.
It is particularly important to us that the events are accessible to everyone – regardless of financial means, mobility, or prior knowledge. We want to create a safe and welcoming environment where everyone can feel comfortable.
This is how the event will proceed
The event is divided into two areas:
- Lecture room: This is where the exciting and informative lectures take place.
- Break and meeting room: A separate area intended for participants who wish to retreat or exchange ideas. This room offers a quiet atmosphere where conversations or breaks are possible.
On-site nursing staff:
To ensure that all participants feel comfortable and safe, a nursing professional will be present throughout the event. They will be responsible for the well-being of the guests and will be available to provide assistance if needed.
The event offers ample breaks between presentations to allow for rest and time for discussions, sharing experiences, and networking. We create an environment where everyone's voice is heard and everyone can learn from the experiences of others.
Furthermore, the event will be filmed by a team. This will allow us to make the interesting and engaging presentations available to a wider audience afterwards. It will also give everyone the opportunity to watch all the presentations again later.
